The talks and life of an Open Brethren preacher in 1950s SurreyI
am posting here that talks of my grandfather which are contained in
nine notebooks kept by my father. They provide detailed templates for
the talks he gave in village chapels in the Witley area of Surrey.
Apart from personal family interest I believe they also give a
fascinating insight into a still vibrant Chapel life in rural Surrey in
the 1950s and the little-known world of rural working-class
Christianity at the time.
