The Big Man

When he died the sun went out,

When the big man died the warmth faded.

Some kind of virus turned off the flame

Like a light switch.

A little bitta heat went out the world;

A big fire

Spluttered before it died.

One little virus

Like an icy pail,

Like a hosepipe,

When the big man died.

We all felt that bit more colder;

The grammer of God

Stop making sense

When the Messiah-man;

The Shalom-speaker

Died.

When the light went out

And it felt a bit more darker.

Though, maybe

If we could get a bit warmer,

If we could hold each other

When we're crying;

If we could see;

If we could get Messiahed ...

He could come alive again,

Like the way he always wanted:

In amongst us,

Closer now,

A bit more real.
